In 2020, nine international glass artists gathered as a group deep in the Bavarian forest. Their desire to exchange ideas, inspire each other and set things in motion together has remained unbreakable ever since. Glassjam not only includes influences from different countries and cultural areas such as Japan, Europe and Russia, but also brings together people with different specialties such as arts and crafts, fine arts and design.

Glass as their overarching artistic content becomes the main medium and vehicle. Sculptural, painterly, scientific, with poetic and conceptual approaches, sometimes exploratory and searching, sometimes informal and spontaneous, they follow a common path. Like a jam-session of musicians.
